Welcome!
Thank you for choosing to support a small and local business! I make it my mission to find the best possible path to healing for each and every client. I want you to have the best experience possible in your self care journey.
Hi, my name is Lindsey and I'll be doing your massage today...
My name is Lindsey Firestone, and I've been a massage therapist since 2014. I started attending the National Holistic Institute for massage therapy in 2014 shortly after I graduated from Liberty Ranch High School. I'm often asked how I decided I wanted to become a massage therapist and my answer is, truthfully, that it just sort of fell into my lap. I was always able to feel adhesions when I would rub my mom's shoulders, or help my friends who played sports release muscle tension, so the gift came pretty naturally. Then one day in my senior government class we had a guest speaker who came to talk to the class about vocational school, and I decided that day that I would tour the school he was representing to see if it was the right fit. It wasn't, however my search led me to NHI, where I enrolled for the classes that were to start at night a few months after I graduated. In the meantime I worked my first job picking parts in a warehouse until I had enough credentials and knowledge to take my licensing exam and become a certified massage therapist. After my core classes at NHI I enrolled in their advance neuromuscular program where I discovered just the type of therapy I wanted to focus on. While I absolutely love any type of bodywork, my heart will always reside with deep tissue, sports and more advanced forms of injury recovery.
Then in early 2020 I decided I wanted to expand my skills, and business possibilities and enrolled at Paul Mitchell to become an esthetician. I am currently working toward my licensing in skin care to add to my service list, hopefully sometime in May of 2025. My love of massage has just helped fuel my love for skin care!
As for me personally, I am a lover of music, movies, video games and cats! I am a big nerd and play Dungeons and Dragons every week with a group of friends I met while I was living in Pensacola, Florida. I also have been teaching myself to do special effects makeup and enjoy creating crazy(and scary) looks! Some of those pictures are below so if you're not a horror fan, well, you've been warned. I moved back to Galt in order to be closer to my parents and to launch my business. Family means so much to me, and being able to be here with them is what keeps me going. I have 3 nephews who I absolutely adore, 2 cats who drive me absolutely insane but who I love dearly, and my parents who are still together and happily married going on 30 years! I enjoy reading and writing in my spare time, and spending time with my wonderful boyfriend.
I hope to see you on my table soon, so we can work on your self care experience together.
